I have a unusual (and probably an invalid) request, but I'd like to try anyways: Could my username be renamed to Martijn? This would be consistent with my usernames on both on nl: and id: wikipedia (nl:Martijn and id:Martijn). Problem is: this username already exists. It's your IP that is being blocked, not your username. This is because you use AOL. Changing name won't help. You need to change ISP. Alternatively, you might find that logging in at secure.wikimedia.org prevents this happening. Angela. 04:41, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
