I'd like to change User:I20 to User:120 for the reasons explained here. It seems User:120 doesn't exist (I probably made a partial creation trying to register unsuccesfully). I've responded at the Village Pump, but to summarize, the account is listed in the system, and that prevents us from being able to rename to that name (the software literally will not perform the request). At this time, we are not permitted to perform forced renames (that is, to rename an account in order to allow another user to usurp that username); the best advice I can offer is to support the proposal at Wikipedia:Usurpation. Crna Gora[edit]

Please change User:Dbalic, User:TWC, and User:CrnaGora to User:Crna Gora. I just don't like the name CrnaGora and would prefer Crna Gora because it matches more to Montenegro, which I am from and contribute mostly about. I stopped using Dbalic and changed it to CrnaGora, though I've nevemr requested a move. I used TWC, but didn't use it a lot. It is not currently possible to merge multiple accounts into one; the most that can be done is to move User:CrnaGora, which is the account from which you have done the most work, to User:Crna Gora. BD2412 T 22:48, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As BD2412 points out, it is not possible to merge accounts (please see the note about this in the header); we can rename your current account to a new name if you would like that done, but we cannot merge several accounts together. Mvelinder[edit]

Please change Mvelinder2 to Mvelinder. I had registered Mvelinder awhile ago, but have since lost the password. In an attempt to retrieve it I realized that I failed to associate an email address with the account so I was unable to retrieve the password. And since I've already sent out recovery emails I'm assuming the password has been changed on the Mvelinder account, destroying all hope that I might remember it and recover the account. If there is a way to recover the account without going through the switching of usernames, that would be fine too. Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks. I understand where you're coming from security wise. Could you please check to see if there is any email address associated with the user:Mvelinder account so that I might be able to retrieve the password if I know what account it was sent to? Also, due to the very few edits, it's not exactly like I'm trying to steal someones reputation here. I had made the first account before I had really started editing a lot so it sat idle. Now that I've become a bit more active I'd like to have it associated with my name again. There is also a personal "neatness" factor having everything under one alias that is turning into a real splinter in my brain. Other than that, I'm not sure how there are any other ways to confirm that I really am the person from the first account and that I would just like it back because of a simple mistake I made. Can I ask why you are requesting the change? I am concerned that blanking of article may be the reason for this request. Changing usernames is not necessary because of this. You are a newbie, and you needn't change your username because of a single mistake.
