Jhs[edit]

I would like my name to be changed to "Jon Harald Søby", as that is the name I use on almost every other Wikimedia project (except no:, where I have too many edits to change name, and Commons (requesting a change there later)). I have however registered the name Jon Harald Søby earlier, so that would have to be renamed to something else before Jhs is changed to Jon Harald Søby. Rename is for privacy reasons

I first registered user when I realized that the first letter was always capitalized later I decided to register user all capitalized. That is the reason I have two accounts. After some time I was made aware of the privacy implications. In today's day and age it is very easy for someone to go back history of edits someone has made even if that someone is not related to Wikipedia at all. Such people can take edits out of context” or use them to show corruption of ethics , malice, political affiliation, areas of interest etc. I would not mind if both those accounts are DELETED. I am aware that it is not possible to delete the account, thus at minimum I'd like to have those accounts renamed to something else. I understand there might be considerable abuse by changing usernames but since Wikipedia allows for transparency, it can be deducted that neither account has participated in an “edit war” of any kind or in any malicious attempts. Thus, again, I’d like the usernames to be renamed to something else, what that other thing is irrelevant.

You may not have a numeric username. "Username must contain: a capitalized first letter". It seems you are trying to clear your good name from google, in that case you can have a random name such as

The reason for this is that I had initially wanted an all-lowercase name, not realizing what would happen to the first letter, and as it now appears it's rather ugly. Response to Secretlondon: There are some confidentiality issues associated with Ac71ry I hadn't recognized when I used it, and I would very much appreciate if the name were changed over for new edits and my previous ones changed to the new name, as I believe is consistent with Wikipedia policy as I am learning it. Yes that is my account. I didnt know that you couldnt merge edits, that is why I created it. I guess in that case you can move the newer account to Hypergeometric2F2(a,b,c,x), and change the 200 edits or so attributed to B21.12.52.123 to the this newest one.
