That's fine. I'm not requesting a username change to delete the content on my user talk page. My request is for privacy reasons alone. I feel that it was a bad idea to use a username on Wiki that could lead to others being able to contact me, discover my actual name, or harass me via AIM (which has happened in the past). I was unaware of the ability to change my user name until our spat which led me to the Wiki Help Page and the information on user name changes. (I had originally been looking for a way to delete my account altogether in order to quit contributing to Wikipedia, but I am content to settle for a user name change).
