SightWatcher is a male film student with an interest in directing and writing original screenplays. On Wikipedia he focuses on editing articles relating to movies, but primarily pays attention to editing articles relating to lesser-known novels and authors that he feels should have more effort put into articles relating to their work. At this time he has primarily focused on the articles relating to the works of Alan Dean Foster; in particular those novels relating to the Humanx Commonwealth.

Movies[edit]

Sigthwatcher's favorite movies include There Will Be Blood, Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb, Citizen Kane, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Jaws, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Patton, Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, A Clockwork Orange, Alien, Dark City, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Moulin Rouge!, Blade Runner, The Incredibles, WALL-E, Platoon, Schindler's List, and Minority Report to name a very few.

SightWatcher also loves the ongoing James Bond series.

SightWatcher believes Stanley Kubrick is the best director who ever lived, but also enjoys the works of Steven Spielberg and Wes Anderson.

SightWatcher believes film is a visual art and prefers films that manipulate reality.

Science-Fiction:[edit]

SightWatcher believes that science-fiction should be as much about expanding upon the future of society as it is action and adventure. Science-fiction can range from fluff entertainment to deep, insightful glimpses, or satire of society, but they should always push the realm of reality without stretching it so thin that the premise becomes unbelievable.

Video Games[edit]

SightWatcher loves playing RPGs that allow the player to customize a character and where social interactions have effect on the game play, but doesn't enjoy MMORPGs. He loves a good first person shooters (really likes them if they have a proper system for allowing the gamer to look down the sights of a weapon).

Favorite video games include Fallout 3, Mass Effect, Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Portal, Portal 2, Tetris, Call of Duty (series), Super Metroid, Battlezone (1998 video game), GoldenEye 007, Final Fantasy VI, Perfect Dark , StarCraft, Warcraft III, Super Mario World.
