Hey there, I'm Sideswipe. Why Sideswipe? Well when I was a teen, I was a huge fan of the Transformers franchise through the G1 animated series and the Marvel comics line. One of the comics I had prominently featured an Autobot called Sideswipe and the name stuck with me. By the time I became an online gamer, it just felt right.
During my day job I'm a video game developer, though my editing interests at the moment lie mostly in the transgender and LGBT rights area. Before becoming a game developer, I was a researcher working on automated scheduling algorithms. Research was interesting, up until my thesis tried to off me! Game development is much more chill by comparison.
