RCS-4 → SR-19 – Relisted. No case made to replace the dab page which includes a more well known use. ChemSpider Error[edit]
The ChemSpider page that this links to (24751864) does not picture the correct molecule, nor does it have the same molecular structure! An extra carbon atom has been placed right in the middle of the benzoyl group, making it instead a phenylacetyl group. Either the picture and info for ChemSpider is incorrect or someone linked this to the wrong molecule; though the former is looking to be more likely as I can't seem to find a page for the actual "2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1-(1-pentyl-indol-3-yl)methanone" molecule. - Indeed, the chemspider link shows a phenylacetyl derivative with a 1-hexyl group on the indole, most odd as pretty sure the compound they show has not even been reported anywhere (JWH-201 is the corresponding phenylacetyl homologue to RCS-4, but as with all the phenylacetyl compounds Huffman made it has 1-pentyl, not 1-hexyl as shown). Maybe RCS-4 has not been listed on chemspider yet, it is not in the scientific literature yet after all!! Meodipt (talk) 05:50, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- I sent them a message over at chemspider and they cleared things up (rather quickly I might add). I hadn't found any literature on their 1-hexyl molecule molecule or even proof of its existence so they decided to deprecate the article. Upon doing so, the 1-pentyl molecule became searchable (24769418) and the problem was solved.

Naming system[edit]
SR in SR-19 stands for SACRA (Synthetic Aminoalkylindole Cannabinoid Receptor Agonist) Research.
RCS in RCS-4 stands for Research Chemical Supplier.
BTM in BTM-4 stands for Buy The Milligram, which was later renamed Buy The Kilogram.
Eric in Eric-4 stands for Eric Chang, a chemist for CEC Chemical Co. LLC (cecchem).
NRG in NRG-4 stands for Energy.
E in E4 either stands for Eric or Energy, both of which can be seen above.

Dead reference link[edit]
Hi.
Reference 4 - the one pointing towards 'Lægemiddelstyrelsen' is dead, error 404 as of today (07-09-11). The new, correct link to the March 2011 publication is: http://laegemiddelstyrelsen.dk/~/media/AC4F04EB48F74523A76BA84DAB9B6067.ashx
I can't seem to correct it - perhaps someone with a better understanding of editing wiki's can help?
