365 Connect is an American technology company headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana.[1][2]

History[edit]

365 Connect was established on August 21, 2003, in New Orleans, Louisiana, by Kerry W. Kirby.[3] The company developed a platform for inquiring about apartment rentals and later expanded its services to include marketplaces, lead procurement, media distribution, live video streaming, and scheduling software.[4][5]

On August 29, 2005, when Hurricane Katrina hit the New Orleans area, the company's network was disrupted, leading to the relocation of its platform to out-of-state servers.[6]

In 2017, 365 Connect acquired the search engine uCribs, which focuses on the student housing market.[7][8]

In 2018, 365 Connect integrated a feature with Uber that allowed for ride reservations from apartment community websites using the property's address for route mapping.[9]

In 2019, the company introduced a platform compliant with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, set by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), aimed at assisting individuals with disabilities in the rental housing process.[10][11]

In 2020, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, 365 Connect developed an AI Chatbot, Digi.Lease, to facilitate livestreaming apartment tours.[12]

365 Connect also collaborates with the non-profit organization, Electric Girls, to support STEM-focused after-school programs for girls aged 5-14.[13][14][15][16]

Recognition[edit]

Inducted into the NOLA 100 in 2017, which recognized the top 100 high-growth companies in the New Orleans area.[6][10]

NYX Marcom Awards from the International Awards Associate for its industry-first, ADA-certified platform.[17][18]
