Before you start crying again that I am mean and incorrect, I repeat what I wrote to you earlier: It would be better when you start paying attention to your own links. Like the "Kamorta tehsil" that does not exist. (Kamorta is a village) And a source that does not back up the information it is supposed to source. If you had read your own source, you should have spotted your own mistakes. Far too often you add total rubbish. The Banner talk 12:41, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Rutland Archipelago

Hello, HonorTheIsland,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Rutland Archipelago should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rutland Archipelago .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, UNSC Luke 1021 (talk) 14:43, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of The Brothers (Andaman)

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The Brothers (Andaman) for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. UNSC Luke 1021 (talk) 14:47, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cosmoledo

Cosmoledo nautical chart of 1969

Hi, I think you enriched the Cosmoledo article with an informative table of the individual islets of the atoll. May I ask you where the area figures (in hectares) were taken from. It also appears that you have more named islets in your table that I could find on the map. Do you have a more detailed map? Greetings from the de-WP.--Ratzer (talk) 15:31, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

-- The information is from a geographic research following a typhoon in the area that split some of the sandbars in two. that is why you have today north golette and south golette. The areas in hectares are from the tabu listings of the government of seychelles, which are updated using landsat photos and google earth. (as is with many countries in Africa which are on low budgets). HonorTheIsland (talk) 15:51, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If that typhoon is a determining force of Cosmoledo's current Geography, maybe it should be mentioned in the article. Do you know when that typhoon occurred? Greetings,--Ratzer (talk) 19:34, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Was it Cyclone Fantala in April 2016? That one was more in the news with inhabited Farquhar Atoll, but Cosmoledo probably was also on its track, as far as I can gauge from the little map.--Ratzer (talk) 09:13, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Brothers

You need to take much more care with articles such as The Brothers (Andaman). You have effectively made up a lot of the information that was contained in that one - see WP:OR and do not ascribe to sources information that they do not give. Some of it - for example, the literacy rate - was absolutely ludicrous given that you say the islands are uninhabited. I can only assume that you have been copy/pasting from one article to another. - Sitush (talk) 06:38, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Gambier Islands into Gambier (commune). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 00:40, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I see you are still not adding the required attribution, as required under the terms of the CC-by-SA license. Please have a look at this edit summary as an example of how it is done. Please leave a message on my talk page if you still don't understand what to do or why we have to do it. Thanks, — Diannaa (talk) 22:08, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Champion

Please stop creating articles about players where you claim that they won the title in their national championship despite not even being a member of the team during the season (either out on loan, or youth players). You also shouldn't add a tabel for their international career when they are unlikely to play an international game anytime soon (e.g. because they haven't even played in the top level division yet), and you shouldn't create articles on players withou including at least one indepth source about the player (i.e. not just the multitude of databases you add), to indicate that the player is indeed notable. Transfermarkt again

As I've already explained to you, Transfermarkt is not considered a reliable source. Unknowingly citing a reliable source, is one thing, but citing it when you should know better is disruptive. Please don't cite the website again. Sir Sputnik (talk) 14:17, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You introduced a lot of errors into this article a couple of days ago. I highly recommend you use the citation creator and not simply copy/paste.

  1. Ref dates can not be more than +1 from the current date. On all of them you put the accessdate as 1 June 2023. I have changed them to today.
  2. You used a language code of il. That is an invalid ISO code. I changed it to HE based on the link when I went to it.
  3. URL status is only used if an archive link is present or by a bot. Please don’t manually put these in to say live. It is assumed live until the bot goes through and finds it no longer exists.

I have fixed all of these for you but please be careful going forward so you do not get numerous warnings on all of these pages I see from above. 2600:8801:CA05:EF00:EDD0:1731:CBFF:D3DD (talk) 16:41, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

May 2023

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Suf Podgoreanu, you may be blocked from editing. I've explained to you twice now that Transfermarkt is not a reliable source. Continuing to cite it is disruptive and may result in a block. Sir Sputnik (talk) 20:05, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
