This work group deals specifically with the characters, publications, storylines, locales, and, to a lesser extent, creators of comics published in Great Britain, as well as these characters, etc., appearances in other media.

• Very interested in helping out. I have a lot of information on Panini Comics and Titan Comics and I have contributed much of it to Wikipedia already.

Any article related to this task force should be marked by adding |British-work-group=yes to the {{Comicsproj}} project banner at the top of its talk page (see the project banner instructions for more details on the exact syntax). This will automatically place it into Category:British comics work group articles.

• {{UK-comics-stub}} and a related one: {{UK-comics-creator-stub}}
• Userbox: {{Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/Outreach/User COMICS British comics work group}}
• {{2000AD-trademark-copyright}} - Specifically for 2000 AD images and incorporates wording requested by the current copyright holder. Allows parameters for "Copyright date" by the current holder (defaults to "2000-2008"); "Character" if the image is related to a specific serial; "Date of publication" for material published prior to the current holder acquiring the material; and "Original publisher" for who originally published the image.
• {{DC-Thomson-copyright}} - Specifically for DC Thomson images. Allows parameters for "Copyright date" by the current holder (defaults to "1939-2008"); this is based on a copyright term of 70 years.

• 2000 AD's site not only has a full index of back issues but has also indexed related publications like Toxic and Crisis so you should be able to find something on most British creators of the past 30 years as 95% of them passed through the doors at some point.

• British Comics (and superheroes) and UK Heroes at the International Catalogue of Superheroes with links on to their entries (very handy for early comics characters)

• Comics UK, overviews of the main titles - a good starting point is the comics listing.
