From 2020 - Editor of the Month for contributions to the Western Australian project in creating new material or improving content by substantial addition of text and images. In most cases edits that are recorded on the page Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Western_Australia constitute basic criterion for consideration.
NOTE: - This does not generally include editing in project space, corrections, adjustments or maintenance issues in main space or talk page space
The allocation of the award is from the aggregation of positive and constructive edits and additions that are not strictly calendrical but approximate the overall benefit to the project, it has nothing to do with competition or winning it is a subjectively designated appreciation of positive contribution of content to the project
