Extended confirmed protection: I had requested extended protection on a list of articles before due to very extensive sockpuppetry going on for months, each time accounts are created days before they become active to bypass semi-protection easily. My request was rejected because the person looking at it thought it was "pre-emptive" but it wasn't. It is ongoing.

Now the latest batch of socks has been blocked so I am requesting it again with a more conservative list. I would prefer it on all state-wise 2024 election articles as he has been editing in all of them through his various socks, throughout his time here but these are the ones where there is very high activity from him in the recent times. Sockpuppet investigations is jammed with cases, sometimes it takes far too long for it to get seen to, which makes the situation go out of control. I can see another account which has popped up that is possibly a new sock.

If you want to check just see the contributions of XYZ 91973 (Not to be confused with XYZ 250706 who he was trying to impersonate) and before that Horace Dendy and so on and so on. Thank you. MrMkG (talk) 17:44, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
