Notes Compare the figure of the old woman with the sketch in Letter 207 File:Vincent van Gogh - Old woman with a shawl and a walking-stick (JH 110).jpg and also drawing F913. The bakery can also be seen in drawing F930a. It lay in the Geest district, opposite van Gogh's mistress Sien's mother's house at no. 16 and next to the newly built Zuid-Hollandsche Bierbrouwerij (South Holland Brewery).
