Summary

Description Sweet and sour shrimp over rice cakes (guoba). It's not really rice cakes, but it's pretty close. The rice you see there is definitely crunchy, and the red sauce is definitely sweet and sour. This is a Shanghai style dish but oddly enough it's the first time I've ever had it.
