"Bidi Bidi Bom Bom" is a song by American Tejano pop singer Selena from her album Amor prohibido (1994). The album's second single, "Bidi bidi bom bom" was written by Selena and Pete Astudillo. It was produced by A.B. Quintanilla III – Selena's brother – and Bebu Silvetti. It was released on 13 August 1994 in the United States. It was picked up by Tejano, rhythmic contemporary and Contemporary Latin radio stations.

"Bidi bidi bom bom", regarded as Selena's signature song, was an unplanned song. After its first draft by Selena, the unfinished song was performed during her Entre a mi mundo Tour from 1992 to 1993. Selena wanted to see her fans' reaction before completing it. Despite the positive reaction of her fans, the song was not recorded at the time. It was modified to a roots reggae style to become accessible for Hispanics who were unfamiliar with her music. It won the award for "Most Performed Song of the Year" at the 1996 Broadcast Music Incorporated Latin Awards.

The 25th Lo Nuestro Awards ceremony, presented by the American network Univision, honored the best Latin music of 2012 in the United States and took place on February 21, 2013, at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida beginning at 5:00 p.m. PST / 8:00 p.m. EST. During the ceremony, Lo Nuestro Awards were presented in 33 categories. The ceremony, televised in the United States by Univision, was produced by Antonio Guzmán. Mexican performers Ninel Conde and Pedro Fernández hosted the show.

Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera earned five awards including Artist of the Year; a posthumous tribute for her was held in the ceremony and featured performances by singers Olga Tañón, Lupillo Rivera, Shaila Dúrcal, Diana Reyes and María José. American artist Prince Royce received six accolades. Multiple winners also included Mexican bands 3BallMTY, Jesse & Joy, Maná, Gerardo Ortíz, and Puerto Rican-American duo Wisin & Yandel. To further celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Lo Nuestro Awards, Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra presented a medley of songs performed by him on previous ceremonies, and Colombian singer Carlos Vives premiered his single "Volví a Nacer", ten years after his last appearance at the show.

Selected album - show another

Otra Nota (English: Another Note) is the debut album by American singer Marc Anthony that was released on January 26, 1993, by RMM Records. Produced by Sergio George, it was the first album by Anthony to record in salsa after starting his career as a freestyle musician. Recording of the album began after Anthony asked RMM president Ralph Mercado to record Juan Gabriel's "Hasta Que Te Conocí" in salsa after hearing it on the radio during a taxi ride. Recorded on a low budget, the album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart and reached No. 30 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.

The album was well received by critics who complimented George's production and Anthony's youthful voice. Anthony received two awards for "Best New Artists" at the Billboard Latin Music Awards and the Lo Nuestro Awards. The album produced three singles: "Hasta Que Te Conocí", "Palabras del Alma", and "Si Tú No Te Fueras", all of which charted on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. As of 2002, Otra Nota has sold over 300,000 copies.
