Ciclafrine (INN) is a sympathomimetic phenethylamine and antihypotensive that was never marketed.[1][2] The compound belongs to the class of hemiaminal ethers.

Synthesis[edit]

Ciclafrine can be prepared by the reaction of norfenefrine with cycloheptanone.[3]
