Yes, I have that enabled. Be aware that if you send me email, through that option or any other, I am free to do anything with such messages that I please. Seasons are in lower case (her last summer; the winter solstice; spring fever), except in personifications or in proper names for periods or events (Old Man Winter; the team had great success on the Spring Circuit). Avoid references to seasons that are ambiguous due to differences in seasons between hemispheres.

Basics
I am a moderately well known consultant and seminar leader in the field of Windows device drivers, debugging, and general kernel mode development. I've been working with Windows NT device drivers since the October '92 Driver Developer's Conference. For a few years after that I was a prolific contributor to the Windows NT device driver newsgroups, and that work earned me an MS MVP (NT DDK) award for a few years, but the consulting/training business has taken too much of my time lately to continue those efforts. (And Microsoft decided that they would no longer have MVPs for driver development!)
Prior to my work involvement with the Windows NT family I worked for many years in similar areas of DEC's VMS operating system. While working for a DEC IHV/ISV I was responsible for the device drivers for a line of intelligent programmable front-end communications interfaces... some of which I later learned were still in use years later in Operation Desert Storm. I won several awards for various contributions to the DEC User's Society.
Before VMS I worked principally with HP's DOS-M, RTE-M, and 2000F operating systems. These ran on 16-bit minicomputers, the HP 2100 and 1000MX, classic load-and-store machines like many of the minis before the PDP-11. I also put in some time on the HP 3000 under MPE, and PDP-11's under RSTE/E and RSX-11/M.

Moving a page can be mildly disruptive. It should nearly always be discussed first (unless it is mandated by some policy). Heck, even if it is mandated, input should be solicited re the new name. After all, those who are watching the talk page may have been concerned with the page for some time and so might have some opinions worth listening to about what the new name should be, or if it should be moved at all, and reverting a move is sometimes not trivial. But official WP policy is that a page move is only slightly more deserving of concern than any other edit (inasmuch as anon editors aren't allowed to move pages).
New editors who come in with the attitude that "Wikipedia is all wrong and it must be fixed!", combined with a pattern of what I will here call "bristly" responses to any disagreement, tend to have short, unhappy careers here. See WP:RIGHTGREATWRONGS.
If your belief requires you to assume that there's a vast conspiracy arrayed against you, you probably should re-examine your belief.
Sometimes, when it's you against many, it's time to consider that the "many" just might have a point. (see WP:1AM)
Some people who claim e.g. "ten years' experience" actually do have skill and wisdom commensurate with ten years' experience. Others seem to have had the same year's experience ten times over.
